Ortega’s advice to current and future students is to “learn to compete [for] and recognize opportunities.” “Everyone has the same time as you do. Whether you’re an athlete, having a job, or a dual major. It’s what you do with your time that will set you apart. Be involved in everything and anything you can,” said Ortega.
